If I had to chose only one jump rope from our range of jump ropes it would be the magic dSD. It's basically the deluxe version of the dS: re-enforced hose instead of clear pvc hose, stainless steel instead of galvanized screws and hard wood handles instead of softer rubberwood (and a bag!). But it's also slightly heavier and feels a bit more sluggish and is therefore very forgiving – I sometimes wonder, if it also knows where I want to go? The typical duvide swing is there – but not too much. Double-unders are no problem and it also works on your upper body. The re-enforced hose stays soft even when it's cold. It's also one of my recommended duvide jump ropes for outdoor use (the other one would be the dS/c).  |
